Questions over Jennifer Mee Case Jennifer Mee was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole in 2013 after being found guilty of first degree murder but there are so many factors in this case which do not warrant the sentence she received. BACKGROUND TO THE CASE As a nineteen year old in 2010 Jennifer arranged to meet a young man whom she had contacted through Facebook, but Jennifer was not interested in romance, her motive was robbery and with the help of her two male companions robbed the victim who was fatally shot in the process.
